Dark Canyon Coffee Company Big West Coffee Review
VIDEO TRANSCRIPT: hey welcome to coffee coffee coffee today’s coffee is from the Big West today would you stop it’s my moustache - today we are reviewing dark canyon coffee company’s Big West which is supposed to be a medium espresso and I did notice that this is a much finer grind than the the other one we reviewed which was a six-shooter yeah so it’s got a great smell yeah and we don’t have an espresso machine we just brew this in an automatic drip coffee maker yeah it won’t fit in the RV and we don’t have that kind of money to just you know buy an espresso machine no but yeah they’re ridiculously expensive I think so this coffee is one of two that we picked up at a grocery store in somewhere in Wyoming Moorcroft Wyoming yeah it’s $11 a pound which is not bad that’s right there with like Gevalia price range so for an artisan type coffee yeah I mean it says on the bag craft roasted now I mean I don’t know what the rules technically are on that but it really does have a really nice flavor yeah spoiler alert yeah let’s get into tasting it right now and we’ll tell you what is the flavor that we are tasting yeah well I tend to usually like espresso anything that has espresso on the bag because usually that kind of means like a dark chocolaty kind of nutty kind of thing and that’s exactly what I’m getting here it’s very you know nice and chocolaty nutty roasty you know it’s just it just hits my flavor profile perfectly like it all those good flavors that are just kind of nice and tasty in a coffee yeah and it is medium espresso which i think is interesting you know because you kind of always think it’s always gonna be dark but this is it’s nice I love it yeah I hope we can find this in other places aside from because I don’t think we’ve been in a grocery store at we’re right now and we’re in Idaho and I we haven’t been to a grocery store yet so I don’t know what kind of availability there is but yeah now you can order online our problem with ordering online is that we live in an RV full time yeah and Amazon is basically the only thing we can order from because they can send it to one of those lockers right but as far as coffee is concerned it’s hard to get things delivered yeah so we have to kind of go based on what we can find locally and speaking of if you are out there and you’re watching and you have a local coffee that you think oh man they need to try X Y or Z brand let us know because we’re traveling all across the country and we would love to know some good coffees to try yeah so what would you say about this one donut rating wise I hate that it’s not more widely available because I want to put it like a four and a half because I like it a little bit better than the six-shooter and even that was a strong four for me so yeah I’m gonna go with the four and a half but maybe I I’d say let’s do that I mean you know availability is one thing but good price yeah that’s really what pushes me is like wow that’s like considerably cheaper than a lot of other kind of you know micro you mean I don’t know if they’re considered a micro roaster but craft that’s really like small batches and stuff so I’m at a four and a half well have you had this dark canyon coffee before any of the blends let us know what you thought about it in the comments below and if you’ve liked the video be sure to LIKE comment again and subscribe and hit the bell so you get notified every time we make a new video or we go live and until next time keep grindin

Dark Canyon Coffee Company Six Shooter Blend Coffee Review
VIDEO TRANSCRIPT: hey welcome to coffee coffee coffee your place for average Joe copy reviews today’s coffee a (gun shots) six shooter blend today we are reviewing dark Canyon coffee companys six shooter blend which is actually from six different beans yes oh yeah so this is I think it’s something that’s local to like South Dakota we found ours in Wyoming Wyoming but they are based in Rapid City South Dakota which is a lovely town we stayed there or we went through there it was amazing and I loved it I want to go back but they say there are a craft roaster and I kind of believe it based on the but is $10.99 a pound which is actually really affordable for like a more of a specialty kind of a roast that’s in line with like Gevalia yeah and this is funny right because we found it at a grocery store that really didn’t have it was like Folgers or this so it’s not a big selection at all but anyway let’s get into the tasting yeah yeah so they don’t really give you a whole lot of like notes on the bag I I think all the bags are the same you can see there’s like a little label they stuck six-shooter on there and we have another one called Big West and that’s the same thing so all the bags are the same they just put a label on there to let you know about it but their website does have some information about each one was that information you were going to share i didn’t look it up we don’t look at that kind of thing so mainly the questions is it any good and I think overall I really like this coffee it’s like a nice it’s not bitter but it’s like a really roasty kind of deep flavor mm-hmm I really enjoy it yeah it was one of the I think because we have two different blends and this one at first I didn’t like it as much but then as I got into it like as we drank it more and more I’ve really grown to like a whole lot and then when we got we got down close to being towards the end of this bag so we started drinking another coffee and I was like really disappointed in the next coffee because this was so good so yeah so it was I think it’s really really good what about you yeah I agree it’s pretty easy to drink I wouldn’t say there’s a whole there’s a lot of the standout flavor it’s smooth you said easy to drink I think yes smooth yeah and I think that because it’s that blend of six different beans it’s just kind of an amalgamation is that a word we’ll call it a word just-just good flavor all around I think yeah nothing outstanding or particular but what would you say doughnut wise Oh I’d go at least a four yeah oh yeah it’s a good price probably not available many places that’s the thing like that’s what kept me from going hire yeah well it’s not widely available so so overall I think we’d buy it again if we were at a place that that had it but you can also order it online so check them out there if you have had it before let us know what you thought about it in the comments below or if you have a local coffee in your area maybe we’ll be coming through there and we’d like to pick up a bag of some of their roasts well thanks for joining us and until next time keep grindin

The Daily Kona Blend Dark Roast Coffee Review
VIDEO TRANSCRIPT: hey welcome to coffee coffee coffee your place for average Joe coffee reviews today’s coffee is buttery today we are reviewing the daily Kona blend dark roast which is supposed to be bold rich buttery macadamia nut and chocolate notes so we also reviewed the medium roast of this it pretty much was the same exact tasting notes except for this as bold and rich right as opposed to smooth this was only $5.99 for the bag and it says Kona blend which again Kona blend in Hawaii if you say that by law has to be 10% I think at least but then if you do it in America I know Hawaii is part of America sorry Continental yeah in the lower 48 it’s okay to basically there’s no law right one bean right right what yeah one bean so um so it’s kind of an odd thing so who knows how much Kona is really in here but I mean regardless $5.99 for 12 ounces of coffee is you know not super cheap right it’s not really expensive either and kona tends to be super expensive yeah and I don’t really care like if I have an Ethiopian coffee or a Kenyan coffee I don’t really care how many of the beans came in from there yeah I just worry about the taste so this coffee at first I like when we were drinking both of these at the same time well not at the same time I know like we would switch back and forth we had one of those helmets straw from the bold and a straw from the medium we did not have that but at first I clearly liked the medium better like it was like there’s no contest whenever we would have this one I was like no I don’t really enjoy it but as its kind of had time to air out and you know just kind of mellow a little bit I really enjoy it too so I will say though I know when actually well yeah this one has chocolate notes too I don’t get as much of a strong macadamia and chocolate flavor as the other one the other one was like wow you could really taste both those flavors this one to me it’s more roasty and yeah you can it’s a darker it makes sense this is the darker roast but I just don’t get those same like outstanding flavor notes you know it I like it but it’s not this you know it’s not that Wow I really like it kind of thing yeah I agree it feels like the good parts of the other coffee which were the macadamia nut and the chocolate are overpowered by the roastiness exactly yeah so that’s not in there as much well put I should have gone to coffee College you should’ve okay so overall the donut rating on this one I would say I would say it a say it you know it’s gonna be the right one now now I don’t even know now you’re doubting yourself yeah I was gonna say it three and a half yes that’s exactly what I was gonna say its not quite a four to me a four to me is like wow I’ve got to have that again three and a half is like it’s good but I would probably buy other coffees before this one same thing here yeah so have you ever gone to a TJ Maxx or a home goods or a Marshalls or a Ross or a wherever you might find coffees like this like we do let us know in the comments below what you found and what you though of the things you tried and if you’ve ever had these daily Kona coffees let us know about those and if you know anything about the history of the company or where we might find out more information also if this video has helped you please be sure to like comment and subscribe be sure to hit the bell so you get notified whenever we put out a new video and until next time keep grindin

The Daily Kona Blend Medium Roast Coffee Review
VIDEO TRANSCRIPT: hey welcome to coffee coffee coffee your place for average Joe coffee reviews today’s coffee is your daily prescription for Kona today we are reviewing the daily Kona blend medium roast this is one we picked up from where homegoods like said yeah lots of random stuff there this place I couldn’t really find any information about the company now kona blend we found out can mean 10% or more of Kona right that is apparently in Hawaii oh so really I mean now it does say that it is Hawaiian grown okay so but it’s roasted in the USA right so how much Kona coffee is actually in this we don’t know the world may never know it was super cheap though like $5.99 but oh no it is a 12 ounce bag it feels smaller it does yeah but so for 12 ounces $5.99 that’s really pretty cheap I mean not cheap cheap but not expensive either but for Kona coffee pretty cheap so it’s supposed to be smooth buttery macadamia nut and chocolate notes which had us intrigued because we like macadamia nuts and chocolate yeah and butter and smoothness yeah so it’s like it’s made for us basically so the question is is it any good because you know the bag is almost gone we’ve been drinking it for a while you notice it’s got a little clip on it because it doesn’t have a resealable thing you have to cut off the top and then do that I have really enjoyed this coffee um one thing is I definitely detect like chocolate yeah yeah and macadamia nut and yeah and macadamia it is really smooth and buttery I mean like it’s one of those things where I’m like yeah that bag really describes the coffee it’s not always the case on some coffees I kind of think wait I don’t taste any of that but this one seems to hit it right on the head yeah they did a really good job of pointing out those things that at least we taste I mean other people can taste whatever they want yeah we’re gonna decide to agree with the bag and this one and this medium roast it’s just really nice we also have a dark roast that we’re gonna be reviewing but this medium roast really nice I would I would recommend it like when we see this again at the home goods we’re gonna pick some up so probably or maybe we won’t like the same kind we rarely pick up the same coffee that’s true yeah it is rare for us to do that but I’m just saying like it’s one I would definitely buy it again um now how many donuts would you give this it’s it’s different than other coffees like we haven’t had a macadamia nut flavor flavoring it’s not a flavoring no I mean like the taste we haven’t had a macadamia nut taste in a coffee and that’s it’s nice it’s like a different thing to have it’s like that is kind of nice and it is buttery so yeah I think at least a four yeah if it was a little less expensive I mean it’s $6 which is not expensive but if it was down at like that yeah $4 for the 12 ounce thing I think I’d be at a four and a half I think have you ever gotten any of this daily kona coffee picked it up at HomeGoods or TJ Maxx or Marshalls or Ross or whatever a store you might find those kind of weird things let us know what you thought about it in the comments below and if you haven’t gotten it go out and find it and try it this is what we’re all about trying new coffees so if this video has helped you please be sure to like it and comment down below and subscribe to the channel and be sure to hit that bell to get notified when we put out a new video or we go live and until next time keep grindin

Market Pantry Premium Roast Coffee Review
VIDEO TRANSCRIPT: hey welcome to coffee coffee coffee your place for average Joe coffee reviews does today’s coffee hit the target today we are reviewing market pantry’s premium roast medium roast coffee premium yeah from Target yeah from Target so Market pantry is the Target brand right and so is Archer farms its like their organic thing I think maybe we haven’t tried any Archer farms I think that there is Archer farms coffee and I’m thinking that that’s exclusively Target and I’m thinking also that people have said it’s good yeah but I don’t know thank you yeah we’ll find out because we’ll certainly try it but it’s 100% Arabica beans Arabica and it’s supposed to have a balanced and smooth taste yeah so for the 12 ounce bag it was only 399 that is cheapo that is cheapo that’s how much per pound it’s a little more than like yeah you know that’s like basically great value price yeah great values 388 that’s in the bag 388 for 12 ounces but you can get the can for a lot cheaper and that is something to think about I wonder is it as good right yeah that’s the only thing other people we know like Anthony buys it in a can his brother mm-hmm and I think you know so probably it’s fine yeah I don’t know we’ll have to try it but yeah anyway we have so much coffee around here it’s like I don’t I don’t I don’t want to buy three pounds of coffee at this point of a certain kind so if it’s no good what are we gonna do with it well just give it away to somebody random yeah but this coffee as she said it was 399 for the 12 ounce bag we brewed it in an automatic drip it came ground already so now you know how we made this and know we are drinking it yeah so these mugs are ceramic lined so we don’t taste like metal from these I’ve compared it back and forth and it’s the same as drinking it out of ceramic cup mug you don’t smell the coffee as much though with this but I haven’t noticed any difference in taste yeah I just like I like these travel mugs because they do keep everything hot longer like I have a bad habit of forgetting that I have coffee and so then you know if I got it in this though cuz it’s got like you can twist it closed and so it stays hot so I can have it all morning which is nice because otherwise if I just have it in a cup my cup gets lost somewhere and then like three hours later it’s just a cold cup of coffee which I’ll still drink but I prefer hot so yeah and when you’re in an RV if your mug gets knocked over it’s nice that they don’t spill out and that happens quite often yeah it’s like an adult sippy cup so so this coffee and you know we’ve had it open for a while now yeah at first I think I didn’t really like it that much like it was kind of eh, but as we’ve been sitting here drinking it I like it a lot better than I did at first I think that one thing is there’s not an outstanding kind of flavor like in other words I don’t really get chocolatey I don’t really get any kind of thing from them but it is not offensive at all right and it’s like it says balanced and smooth and I would agree with that like it’s very balanced so balances like there’s no real outstanding feature in it that I can say that’s really roasty err you know it’s just kind of like it’s coffee yeah so it could be popular among a lot of people because it’s easy to drink it is balanced yeah just kind of that even keel yeah if you need a cheap coffee and you’re at Target and you’re like I would go with this one the other one that we did the French roast I can’t remember how many doughnuts we gave it yeah actually three yeah I was going to say like I think I like this one better which I’m wondering am i becoming more of a medium roast kind of gal I used to think I was a French roast kind of gal well it’s very dark you should have listened to me in the beginning I know he was always a lighter roast kind of person but I don’t know like I think that as the coffee gets better like so in other words better quality coffee I think I’m more on a medium roast but some of the lesser quality I prefer darker just because it’s more flavor yeah yeah but it’s good I think I would go three and a half yes if we went three on that sorry if there’s too much wind there if we went three and a half on this one I need more flavor for four but this is like yeah for like a party or something you just need like a bunch of cheap coffee and I’d say use this yeah but because those great value coffees are less expensive and they had more flavor so yeah of course yeah yeah probably go with great value over this one but you know if you’re at Target or if targets your Jam you know as opposed to the Walmart’s right yeah well have you picked up any coffee from Target specifically this market pantry premium roast let us know in the comments Market Pantry French Roast Coffee Review
VIDEO TRANSCRIPT: hey welcome to coffee coffee coffee your place for average Joe coffee reviews today’s coffee is not as good as the last coffee we drank today we are reviewing market pantry’s dark roast right which is from Target it’s like the store brand of Target so it’s 100% Arabica beans right and it’s supposed to have a full-bodied and rich taste full-bodied and rich I don’t have anything to say about that I thought you were gonna say that’s like you yeah I’m not full-bodied right and I’m not rich no I am NOT french roast Market pantry coffee oh right it’s french roast not just a dark roast sorry I messed up that’s okay uh so anyway the price on this was 399 for the 12 ounce bag so that’s cheap yeah that’s how much per pound however much 399 divided by 12 times 16 equals I’ll put it on the screen right so we just finished a micro roaster coffee d town Roasters Nicaraguan blend and that’s why we’ve been drinking before we started drinking this actually we were drinking this then we had the d-town and we were like we’re just gonna drink the d-town until it’s gone and then we started drinking this again it’s very hard to be impartial now because when you I mean there’s just no comparison grocery store coffee is just never going to compare to a high quality micro roaster right and I’ll point out for those of you who are gonna nitpick she said Nicaraguan blend we understand its a roast - oh sorry roast roast roast yeah blend would be different kinds of beans that yeah so but the point is is this coffee any good because you know at 399 a bag that is this is really cheap really really cheap yeah yeah so bottoms up and I gotta say the the smell coming from the bag and the coffee like after its brewed is super nice like it’s almost misleading I think it’s like it makes me think it’s gonna taste a certain way but then when I actually taste it I you know I get a little bit of bitterness a little bit not I don’t know isn’t but it’s not that bitterness I like sometimes like Pete’s like there’s like a it’s like roasty and and kind of bitter but this is I don’t know kind of just bitter without the roasty yeah it’s for me the drinking of it isn’t hard like it’s not like it’s not like offending me yeah but it’s not as good as the last coffee so that’s hard yeah it is hard see when they say rich I’m now comparing it to d-town Roasters it’s like mmm it’s not rich compared to that but you know but thinking back to other coffees like folders let’s say folders like black silk yeah and it’s not fair to compare it’s not fair to compare you know this type of coffee to an artisan roaster like d-town roasters yeah yeah it’s really not fair to do that so on its own though you know it does have a bit more flavor than some of the cheaper coffees I would say but now you know that’s pretty close right to the price we paid for a great value coffee right great value coffee I enjoy more yeah than this so to be fair though we haven’t had any great value coffee that is true so but okay but doughnut rating on this one would be I want to know you’re thoughts before I say anything like I think at this price I would buy it again maybe now that you know considering the great value coffee may not be available they’re roughly the same price you found a target but not a Walmart okay somehow maybe you’re in Northern California yeah yeah so you would say I think I pick a three I mean that would that would be the highest I would go yeah okay because I’m really trying to be fair and not saying this does not taste as good right as the Nicaraguan yeah that is true I mean I will say I will I will drink this whole mug of coffee and I will enjoy it I will think back fondly on the other coffee we had but I will also enjoy this so dreams of the Nicaragua roast yeah in our heads yeah and the more I drink that you know yeah it you know drinking helps you forget yeah yesterday yesterday I had to have a I can’t remember which coffee I drank but it was in the middle of you know I had the Nicaragua from d-town and then I had that other coffee and the other coffee just tasted like water mm-hmm Kayla was off at a coffee shop it was really good job java jive in a Hannibal Missouri right and I was having my water based coffee but yeah it was hard to drink but we have to put that out of our mind in order to do unbiased reviews overall three doughnuts I think I think this fair but yeah have you ever been to a target at all no and picked up any of the market pantry coffees I only noticed two when we were there but maybe there’s more than the French Roast and the medium roast which that review will be forthcoming but let us know what you thought about the coffees that you tried from there or if you plan to try them even after hearing our three donut review well thanks for joining us for this review and until next time keep grindin

Folger's 1850 Trailblazer Coffee Review
VIDEO TRANSCRIPT: hey welcome to coffee coffee coffee your place for average Joe coffee reviews today’s coffee was named after a basketball player today we are reviewing folgers 1850 well it’s not really folgers well it its folgers its the Folger coffee company 1850 trailblazer roast yes so it’s still Folgers but it’s like the branding is a little bit different they’re going after the more premium kind of feel it costs a little bit more the coffee itself is supposed to be a medium dark roast it’s supposed to have caramelized flavor nuttiness it’s supposed to be rich and bold yeah so they give you a lot of different little tasting notes speaking of caramelized yesterday I had a hamburger and the bun was made out of donuts yes and it had caramelized onions yeah that’s so good Krispy Kreme donut right but this is about coffee coffee is also good and so this one as we mentioned in a previous review mr. Folger he went out to San Francisco during the gold rush and he perfected his coffee craft right and this is what he came up with and the company said we’re not gonna make that coffee anymore but now they’ve decided to make it again right you know the price of the bag was 698 yeah you know yeah not mad for 12 ounces cheaper than you know say Pete’s and Gevalia or maybe about about the same price I would say as a Gevalia you can say if you get a sale or something but we were kind of hesitant to try it because if it’s like it’s Folgers I mean there have been a couple that we’ve kind of liked but overall we were just like is it gonna be the same thing is it gonna just be like canister Folgers in a bag or is it gonna be like better coffee so let’s give it a tasty taste speaking of tasty doughnuts hmm so again with this one i really like it i really i mean the other Folgers 1850 that we had was the dark gold right black gold black gold black gold texas T yeah except it was black gold california gold coffee but yeah this is really I think really good I like the medium dark thing they’ve got going on it’s not too dark but it’s just it’s nice it’s very easy to drink I think not bitter at all no there is kind of a caramelized type thing not caramelized onions we’re not getting confused with that yeah speaking of that could you make some caramelized onions just a snack I’d like a bowl full of caramelized onions yeah like you know it says caramelized I get that nutty I get that but I don’t know if I get really bold I don’t know whenever I have seen bold on other bags it always seems like I don’t tend to like those as well but I think overall I really enjoy it yeah I think there are some additional 1850 folgers coffees so far we’ve just reviewed two at the time of this recording right if you know of any that we have yet to review let us know in the comments below we’d love to check those out and see if they follow in line with them and if you’ve had this Trailblazer roast it’s a roast right not yeah they don’t call it a blend fire roasted I also saw in the bag that they are steel cut beans yeah which probably if you grind in a burr grinder it’s steel so then those are steel cut yeah maybe kind of in a sense anyway are people grinding their stuff with like plastic I don’t think plastic ground beans I doubt it they just use steel cut as a thing but everybody does it right yeah well what about the doughnut rating oh right I almost forgot it was great coffee it was a beautiful day the wind is here lets see donut rating I think we’re probably at a four oh yeah yeah strong four yeah yeah strong four yeah yeah it’s good I really like it yeah well check it out for yourselves and let us know what you think about it thanks for joining us and until next time keep grindin

Tommy Bahama Kona Blend Coffee Review
VIDEO TRANSCRIPT: okay yeah no no it’s more visible yeah like right here it’s really pretty not so much right there anyway welcome to coffee coffee coffee your place for average Joe coffee reviews today’s coffee is a cop yeah he’s not so witty on the live version that’s not true snap it’s like the jerk Steve mark great yeah today we’re reviewing Tommy Bahama ground gourmet coffee Tommy Bahama is a clothing manufacturer but they also do coffee but really this is manufactured by for Paramount which we found we bought this one we’re at HomeGoods right yeah home goods and so we have found the Paramount coffee overall I’d say exploring they do Joe coffee all the two coffees paramount coffee yeah well they do remember they had that one for me no no it wasn’t a paramount no that was the company that went out of business oh that’s right Oh paramount did that one that we did at the beach paramount what Gannett forget was it a breakfast nook I think so I think as I said on the review that we were doing it at breakfast time I think so yeah perhaps we should go and review our stuff you can’t watch 100 sometimes but yeah so we paid $4.99 for this bag which means it’s 665 a pound which is pretty cheap yeah you know like it’s not as cheap as likes a great value no that’s a Kona blend now I would assume it says gonna blend that it actually does have Kona like from Hawaii like B’s but it doesn’t really say that on the bag but I’m thinking that by law right they couldn’t say Kona by law there’s got to be well I mean a lot of times there are different right like you can’t put a mic on there or something like that yeah I don’t well anyway so $4.99 for the bag and it’s supposed to be mild and the acidity creates the perfect blend oh mild body and so there you go so let’s take a swig mm-hmm we’re almost done with the bag so we thought it would be time to do a review mm-hmm we we are currently time is it 6:30 p.m. mountain time we are in Wyoming keyhole keyhole keyhole State Park that’s right we just got here a little bit ago and we were actually behind on our live reviews even though we did one act wall drug and we also did one yesterday we’re still behind good yeah well this this is catching us out technically it would have been tomorrow’s but I thought we haven’t had coffee oh it’s good he strikes yeah or not yeah so so I like it and I think overall I like this coffee I think it’s enjoyable mm-hmm it’s um kind of roasty I kind of the first step I took I kind of thought chocolatey not getting that as much anymore as I get into it trying to figure out what that it what that taste is cuz you know we have those there’s a couple of other coffees that were gonna review and they have a macadamia nut taste and I was trying to figure out what is the taste that I’m tasting what is the taste I’m tasting in that yeah I don’t know I think it’s it’s not like a Damian that no no but what is it let me pour some in the camera for the viewers to taste I can’t figure out what the overall [Music] there’s almost like a raisin e to me yeah did he say something about citrus it didn’t say that it said well exceda t that one’s always a tough one for me when it says the city I think but probably because of the cream that I put in mine yeah I put half and half so I think it kind of masks whenever there’s a citrusy kind of note yeah well what would you say we paid 49 for the 12 ounce bag what would you say for the oh and we brewed this in a drip coffee maker because of you inquiring minds who want to know automagically yeah we like to do that just punch it we were getting close to running out of it yeah sorry wind yeah fuck it I’ve been wanting to drink it more and I think we got to review this so that we can drink it yeah that’s always you can kind of always tell it’s a little tournament we always have going on multiple coffees the ones that get art that you know getting emptied the fastest or favorites obviously and so that was one that we had to hold ourselves back on so it’s been open for a week or two but yeah very good mm-hmm and that kind of said something about how quickly well how quickly do you really have to consume coffee once you open some people would be horrified that we waited yeah you know we can’t even use brown coffee well yeah but you know different yeah I mean well I won’t say that there is a taste difference I think you know you can taste that it’s fresher in the beginning but we have found sometimes you know you might not like the coffee at first give it a day or two to air out like that coffee yeah that’s happened a long time just kind of like that first day it’s just too strong or really beany then later we dislike a lot and it seems like if you just let it sit there long enough it kind of airs out it’s kind of nice so and Tommy Bahama I kind of thought when you brought this back I was like wow why like who’s gonna drink that coffee or something like you buy that yeah hey would ya so three and a half donuts on this Tommy Bahama Kona blend as you can see there if I’d move it right there yeah over Kayla’s face thank you have you ever had any of this Tommy Bahama coffee as we said it’s from paramount coffee those are typically pretty good yeah I was just gonna say let us know yeah comments below what you thought about it paramount is a neat one because it’s an employee-owned company so that’s kind of cool and then you know again we don’t know what the Kona it doesn’t say 100% Tona it actually only goes says the ingredient is coffee right with me we don’t know yeah you know I just don’t think that they could say Kona unless we can you say kind of if it’s not really from Hawaii and it’s not a Kona coffee mm-hmm I would imagine that there are regulations in place but yeah I guess we would we’ll find out if we ever certitude but we have so much stuff going on we are from or not from we are currently in State Park in Wyoming which is in Moorcroft yeah and you’re more cars there’s Denver that’s south yeah yes we actually well it probably is you know yeah right yeah well now now that other stuff for the daily Kona we have another thing and it’s called daily Kona and it is Kona coffee a coffee like it is actually legitimately from Hawaii but says and it was cheap like I think for neon bag so we did get sent some coffee from Hawaii that was 38 dollars a pound and we didn’t like it so we didn’t review it it just wasn’t to our liking no we won’t say who it was yeah because we it was a small business that sent it and we don’t if it’s if it’s something we don’t like then we won’t review it just because we feel like that’s you know you know the big boys can take it you know if Starbucks if we don’t like Starbucks they don’t care but a small business you know they might that might be the only thing on YouTube about them is our review so yeah oh yeah salmon salmon and yeah that when you say salad yeah you think you’re being all proper and it’s totally incorrect we were saying the salmon boa that we are in Wyoming and book is gonna kill us all with the cameras we’re in Wyoming we may end up around Denver we have our friend who in Thornton which is just north of Denver oh yeah so we may end up there after going somewhere do you have a question that’s not just leave it so we don’t know and then mr. part of my day so yeah parents you’re in South Florida right we were down in Sarasota that was the closest we got to South Florida I think that’s considered Southwest Florida right above Fort Myers but we weren’t you know but we know we didn’t make it down into real South Florida and we probably will at some point yeah like we have family there so yeah well in central in Central Florida so my point is like during maybe the colder months we could you know visit family but if we want to camp there we got to make reservations ahead of time that’s it’s really really hard you want to get down there yeah um for those of you who joined us late I was gonna show you that you can’t really see it from behind us that you can see oh there we go this is like part of the lake yeah I think that guys trying to make as much as possible yeah I love dogs but that one was wet and now I kind of what that minute anyway I’ve actually never been to South Florida even though I’m a Florida native well my friend that drove down 441 as far south as we could go one night here aboard and we left just north of Orlando got on 441 and drove south just to see how far we could get in his Ford Fiesta but anyway we reviewed this Kona blend from Tommy Bahama we gave it three-and-a-half donuts if you joined us late late and I’m gonna write that down so I remember yeah paramount coffee yeah so if you try and pair Mountain coffee there you can usually find it in what like home goods is the main place that they took hungers t.j.maxx that kind of store which again is so weird to me like that they sell coffee and that you really can’t like I’ve still not seen paramount coffee anywhere else but yeah one thing that I did find is that at some of the gas stations around here they serve Caribou Coffee which oh yeah so there’s actually one in the little town here called mordioux or something like no more craft it’s like more craft yes see Pete’s yeah well probably it’s probably one of the organic yeah networking ability I made a list here that one was really good yeah the other organic women that we’ve reviewed was it French yeah that one was really good too but I think my favorite like when I think back on it for whatever now I mean it could be because we had just started full-time or being so well we were talking but it was also exciting too so that was just an exciting period of time so that might have colored my yeah liking of it but I love I love most Pete’s I don’t think there’s been a pizza that I dislike and it’s still exciting oh yeah great coffee for the keys that’s right look at that stylish you can put that on any boat salmon boa said I really enjoying mocha Java from Caribbean so are you going to the actual store or is that a balloon or yeah or are you talking about like a bland kissy where we well in Florida where we would buy caribou there were only like three blends mahogany and Costa Rican like a day like no we have in daybreak and sorry our children are like kind of it they’re in there trying to make shrimp sauce you know that Japanese Steakhouse sauce for rice so yeah so good so caribou yeah so carrot like so there was only like three different blades mahogany daybreak and the medium roast that was available in our public’s which was the the coffee I mean that was the grocery store around us that had like the best selection of Pete’s but yeah so to Sam about you’re saying that’s a great dark rose I think you’re talking about the on the day let the tiara I think you’re talking about that yeah okay yeah so you’re talking p dub you’re saying I feel so cool when I say that Peter get up for ya feed up for good unless you’ve got some IVs come on up yeah we’re not hitting we are not have like I can’t say things like I’m so jelly I just can’t do that yet it’ll be like those shoes 10 years from now yeah jellies are like the shoes yeah but people say that now like jealous but anyway so yeah they they grind their coffee really fine that is true like so it’s too fine for a prince French for us a prince France a French press and that yeah but it’s not too fine yeah nothing’s too fine for the drip coffeemaker I mean I guess it could be some things are too porous yeah yeah yeah yeah some things now that we have a grinder at least maybe now if we got some that was too coarse we can really grind it I guess but so the mocha Java is a blend that they make oh no it is a plan okay we will probably as we get further west obviously find more caribou I’m thinking yeah because I mean I can’t remember where they were founded yeah I would like to go to Caribous headquarters we know that Berkeley so we had one before and we enjoyed using it I think we thought oh we’re doing something special but see fringe fest is so to each his own yeah I think there are good points and bad points to it you know that certainly it takes more effort yeah we’re cleaning all this it can be fun too yeah people but then also your coffee is probably less dirty from your automatic jerk machine that is a big thing I will say that like drip coffeemaker there’s just no good way to really clean that thing if anyone knows of a really good way to get it all clean aside from I mean take it all over yeah like this it does get kind of bad so doesn’t like we should just buy any one can you get Black and Decker to spawn so they can send us a new copy news yeah because we’ve had that thing forever but I just I was trying the other day to get it all clean and I mean I was in there you know washed it but there’s only so much you can do ooh CLR how’s that gonna like poisonous today rinse it out probably you run it through there yeah rinse it out yeah rinse it out get out maybe they rinse it out again yeah I just feel like so what’s the word harsh or what’s that word you know harsh not hard abrasive abrasive yeah clean so I don’t know yeah all right well yeah it is did Vice say what time it is it’s a 6:45 we haven’t eaten dinner it’s go time for East Coast people yeah that’s right we normally eat dinner are we trying to eat dinner about 6:00 6:15 6:30 yeah but it’s been a fairly long day we let the kid the children to him I did yeah there’s a place in Rapid City South Dakota called a storybook playground storybook park and it has Island storybook Island and it has a castle and all these different storybook characters and they you know really neat type of Park and we got there and they closed they were closed by Labor Day weekend so we missed it by a couple of days and so then we had to go get ice cream which was not so bad it was really good if you’re ever in Rapid City go to armadillos ice cream man it was good very creative yeah very good yeah I totally did not do my intermittent fasting today osos biodegradable is roundup biodegradable put some roundup in the toilet well I guess I would have to be sprayed on your stuff that’s true yeah go onto the ground hopefully that stuff that I spray to kill bugs around the RV and around the Biggby Coffee's Biggby Best Coffee Review
VIDEO TRANSCRIPT: I know hey everybody welcome to coffee coffee coffee your place for average Joe coffee reviews today’s coffee is a live review or pre-recorded if you’re watching this part you’re probably watching it pre-recorded and cuz no one’s in here right now yeah today’s coffee is a big deal it’s right yeah it’s Biggby coffee vig gby it’s Big B best best blend says it’s our smoothest and mellowest blend some big beat coffee we got this one at HomeGoods yeah so again interesting and I still find it interesting that we can find all these weird like coffees at HomeGoods but then we really don’t find them other places other than I’m good it’s like I don’t know where else you can find Biggby coffee outside of you know Michigan yeah well I think they are in other states well is it a caleb was just reading up albums yeah is it just a roaster or do they have locations they have locations like their franchise or franchise or yeah franchise works so you can actually like start your own Biggby coffee store and so it’s you know it’s like a copy shop but then they also did the roasted coffee that you can buy in the store but I don’t know where else you can buy this other than Rhodes or something like that like is it in grocery stores yeah maybe people in Michigan if there’s anybody out there can tell us yeah have it actually I think they’re in Illinois as well just based on what I saw forget things I read it and then I forget but yeah so this is a 12 ounce bag that we cat for $4.99 so that’s pretty cheap I mean at 6 something six fifties that bag I don’t sorry a pound yeah it’s not bad no not cheap not cheap cheap but not bad it’s not Easter and we’re not birds no but but yeah so it’s called I thought it was called I love my baby but apparently I love my baby interests something that they say it’s big be best which is which is the front and which is the back I think this is it the front yeah that’s right thank you best yeah did you say about it talks about it’s their mellowest balloon yeah Mel I said that no is this supposed to be 100% pure awesome and Friends so now it just says drink drink it drink coffee it’s a little windy hopefully you can’t hear the wind or the effects of the wind going through the microphone of the time so this copy every time I drink it the first time cuz we’ve almost fell back which shows that we probably have enjoyed it actually because we’ve had we’ve got a lot of different copies that we’re drinking right now and so it’s always like ooh which one do I want something so this one this one of the ones that keeps winning out but it seems like every time the first few sips of this coffee I don’t really like it it’s kind of like it’s kind of beanie tasting to me but then I start to really enjoy it like I get into them like wow this is good as frosty yes good and it is smooth it’s easy to drink I think see what she’s yeah so since I said I’d seen bags with coffee and frosty day Mac some goods always wondering if there were any goods it’s not freshness so I think if like you I know like I know a lot of people are kind of really not concerned I’m inside there worried but I have yet to really think of it as being stale tasting or anything we’ve tried a lot of different copies that we have notice that like Starbucks especially you’ll find a lot of those at those places and the the best by date will be like really good really close or you know or even sometimes past and they we’ve seen it but we still have not noticed I pasted it a you know and I actually started checking the dates on those it was like I don’t know eight months ago that somebody mentioned something about dates and I was like there’s dates on coffee yeah yeah so I’ve been checking them in the ones that we’ve found at HomeGoods and TJ Maxx and and the like have actually been in date or I wouldn’t or I don’t buy it [Music] but like know we do know Pete’s man it’s like fresh fresh I mean you know like they have them they I think they actually do they roasted on and then Best Buy and it’s like a very short window that they give you whereas other copy that we’ve that we’ve seen is like far out in the future I mean like the folders I want to say it I mean it like okay it’s like a year or two from now so you know I I don’t know that it makes that big of a difference although that would be a neat video to do like try to find some old like at HomeGoods and then go find the fresh system you can find at the store and then do a blind taste test and see but so far I haven’t noticed enough to be yeah maybe I should just buy a bag of something and then hold on to it for like it’s a good idea to a year after it’s expiration date so in a year from now and then well we’ll have to find something sorry I didn’t mean to I don’t know how to do this okay there we go the screen all right feed up for barks they all says have you guys ever used a French press I just converted over from a drip coffee maker to the French press I see look I pressing the thing just look and I’ll never use anything ever again okay so when we were first married we used French press doesn’t you when well in our first year of marriage no travel mug but we got no we actually had a baby at the time many before we have said that was before he had kids but no we had one kid because we had really gotten into coffee like sort of well I don’t know it in our mind we were like we don’t condone ‘it’s original yeah i don’t even think we like we were we had a kid and and we were finally at that stage where we were kind of kind of in a groove and so we had heard a lot of good things about a French press so we got one we even got a grinder and we started grinding I think eight o’clock coffee I think that’s one and we did love it like as far as we really really liked the taste and the freshness and just in general meaning but then we had a second kid and then a third kid and then at that point we’re like just drip coffee I mean we we went back to drinking drip shortly thereafter just because the the having to clean out that filter all the time it’s just kind of knowing it was just I preferred to just grab the you know the filter and throw it away but the process is easier with an automatic drip you just put a filter in there scoop the coffee and you’re done right yeah yeah I’m yeah just the ending trying to get the coffee grinds like out of the filter but don’t let it go down the drain it was just like this big hassle yeah so ultimately I felt like the hassle was not worth the slight increase in flavor that I felt like I could taste now wait one thing we do want to do here on this show is try out some experiments like blind taste test here was this roast that was freshly ground and we made it in a French press versus you know this stuff that we made in a trip you know or you know all different kinds of stuff but so far we haven’t really done that so cuz we don’t have a plane stress right but the other day we killed the battery in our RV not the engine battery but the battery that runs some of the systems when you don’t have the generator on or you’re not plugged in and the way that I made the coffee then was we had the automatic drip machine and I just boiled water over on the stove and I boiled it and then I let it stop boiling so I knew it was probably closer to the range and then I just poured it out of the pot into the grounds and that actually worked great I thought it tasted really good and I wondered like it could just be a psychological thing it seemed like it made it taste better but I don’t know I mean I was I think I was just really thankful to have coffee at that point yeah because we were trying something new we were like well let’s see how long we can use the battery for oh yeah that’s very long yeah but so this coffee is mellow yeah yeah I don’t think the more that I’m drinking it the more that I the more than I’m really liking it I think it’s just the first few sips for whatever reason just it takes me a bit to to get into the cup but then once I’m in I like it yeah it’s I think it is easy to drink smooth and all of that yeah okay that’s a good point does it require electricity so you had we’ve been prepared with a French press we wouldn’t it wouldn’t have even been an issue in doing oh just bring out the French press honey it’ll be fine but we have thought about that too before we bought the RV we thought hey well we could even if we had no power or anything we could boil water over a fire and use the French press to make coffee you always have yeah we haven’t had to do that yet but we will as we said we’ll get a French press and some comparisons so cheap hey what kind do you have do you like do you know the brand and is there any specific feature that you really like I mean I think they’re pretty much all kind of the same I think but if you have if you want to share yeah I’m trying to remember having to do it we had to like take apart all the different things and like it was like like a broad just read it through and then you put the filter another thing yeah yeah yeah so yes spqr reborn we did go see Mount Rushmore yesterday I didn’t see that yeah second part of the question yeah and yeah factor in nature coffee yeah so yeah we saw Mount Rushmore and we saw Crazy Horse and we went this Hill City so those were three things and I’m exhausted today yeah but no it was very cool like I’m very glad that we went to see those streets but all three of those like I don’t regret any of it it was super neat to see Mount Rushmore what a lesson in just doing something bigger than yourself both both of the Crazy Horse and Mount Rushmore the artist who who started the project didn’t live to see their completion right or at least the can’t think of his name right now the guy that did Mount Rushmore anyway yeah anyway the point is he died before the dedication so I think he pretty much saw the photo yeah but anyway he was he lived just almost to the dedication so I think he probably almost saw it completely finished but then this other guy who did Crazy Horse he was going up this ladder seven hundred seven steps and and like his air compressor kept stopping so you have to go all the way back down started back up go all the way back up work for a little bit I mean just never tired and he died way before a lot of progress was made and even now like in the past 20 years not much progress is then it looks that way anyway I mean it could just be that not a lot of noticeable product progress has been made I think they have been working on it but it was just a neat lesson and a good one for our kids like we were we were really glad that we did it so but yeah it’s super cool so light right now we’re in South Dakota what’s it Hermosa Arisa South Dakota isn’t that Spanish for a beautiful beautiful beautiful Hermosa I don’t know anybody out there no Spanish Hermosa I think wakes with it know what is what his sister Serena I don’t know gosh we don’t know we don’t know Spanish TV TV TV I can never say that use the French press and a hand grinder Oh a hand grinder Wow what is this the medieval times yeah those are cool that can I I’ve drawn them before and they’re they’re a neat thing to draw but and I’d love to look at them I’ve never tried using one but I do like like old old technology you know like that kind of thing I do I do like that so I think that’s cool that you’ve got a hand guys I applaud hard work but I don’t even like to eat chicken wings because I don’t want to work additionally for my food I work hard enough to make the money to buy the food I don’t want to have to like you know get in there although I do I do like chicken wings they taste really good uh-huh let’s see so I bought a bodom can you 34 ounces for all mine okay 417 it’s a it’s a metal filter so you don’t need to buy the paper yeah okay so yeah so Bodom and that’s a good friend reasoning did we I think so I’m pretty sure it was the botom yeah it was an opinion that was not part of the name I don’t remember it was on the lid on the cap the name on it I was kind of in a like days baby like after I had my first child this was just like it was a fog until right about now yesterday yeah till yesterday yeah it’s the original french fries okay so that’s probably yes you probably and it would have been from Walmart yeah definitely but yeah I remember that time fun it felt like you were doing something special for your coffee for one thing and I imagine with hand grinding oh yeah and more yeah then you’re not really committed yeah I think it helps you appreciate yeah like if I ever deep-fried Oreos I’ll appreciate them all that much more yeah because I deep-fried them and I did you guys do the pose in front a lot of creatures never get to see their creations you sell it almost yeah that’s true we did pose in front of it you try to take a filthy family selfie now when we go to places and there they’re not very good horrible we we did somebody even asked to take our picture in front of it for us and we declined we said it’s part of the fun we haven’t had a family portrait taken in four years I think oh yeah yeah since I lost weight yeah so yeah it’s been four years so oh so Hermosa does mean beautiful haha see that in Spanish class paid off I got a C in Spanish class and I knew Formosa come on you didn’t know it though I do have beautiful no you said you said I don’t know I can’t remember you guys were mine I think her mom hermana that’s brother that’s thought that was her my wife in hermano I don’t know man Hermione is a character in Harry Potter yeah yeah okay she send your up isn’t a senorita a single but maybe you can say it seen seniorita like I don’t know if it’s like can you I don’t know I can’t but she can’t roll the or roll the arse I can’t do that yeah or the in I don’t we don’t know what your the saying you up to we said too many things but so overall this car the Biggby coffee that’s what we best I think I would buy it again for sure if we saw it again we’ve been certainly over some of the stuff we’ve been drinking lately yeah but we do have several home goods purchases coming up we have a Tommy Bahama Kona blend and I know daily Kona medium and daily Kona bold I wanted to ask the audience like do you guys prefer when we do really random coffees such as things you’ve ever heard of Big B or do you like the more like Jabalia or Starbucks and Folgers and that kind of thing what do you guys prefer just let us know we’re just curious we can kind of look at the analytics and see what it seems like people like but that doesn’t necessarily mean like because we can’t see what the people who who tuned in you know all the time what they’re really watching right choices yeah yeah okay so that’s surprising to me yeah just but you want to know like what else is out there but are you know I think our most popular video is Aldi daily basics and but also then Pete’s major Dickinson’s is another performer yeah but so yeah we always look forward to hearing what you all have to say about what you’d like to see reviewed and and that not that but we try hard yeah but if you find any other coffees like this in home goods or TJ Maxx or Marshall’s or any kind of place where we maybe our traveling plans for the next week or two are from here in South Dakota to outside of Gillette Wyoming and then over to Yellowstone which we may be off the grid for a week when we get to Yellowstone at least for most of the most days yeah I might have to drive to get signal yeah but if you know of any places over that way that we could check out I know there’s a monk it’s on the northern part yeah we’re gonna be going through there we changed our plans we’re gonna go up to I forgot now Glacier National Park but we decided that Yellowstone is really where we want to hit and we’ll try to go to Glacier next year maybe when we go up to Banff and Alaska okay mm-hmm small wristers yeah yeah oh and that’s nice like dream you love drinking stuff from small Roasters man yeah they knock it out of the park compare if you compare just grocery store coffee to a small roaster there’s just I mean there’s no comparison so but then we wonder it you know is that helpful people that I guess you know hey whatever the people want whatever you guys want that’s what we’ll drink yeah all right well I think we’re gonna wrap it up because we still have other work to do we’re using this day as a catch-up day after all the traveling we’ve been doing recently we’re gonna start to slow down our traveling and seeing more things around and drinking more coffee views right now we don’t really have a view this is er view yeah it’s not too bad but not too bad but not too good right now either so it’s certainly welcome yeah we will continue to at least bring two reviews a week to you and then some of these live ones mixed in there depending on where we are we would like to make it a regular time but at this point we don’t really know I have a lot that I do every Wednesday and I don’t know I hope that I can continue to do that Dunkin Donuts Original Coffee Review
VIDEO TRANSCRIPT: hey welcome to coffee coffee toffee your place for average joe coffee reviews today’s coffee is the og of coffee today we are reviewing Dunkin Donuts original blend Dunkies Dunkies yeah it’s a medium roast medium roast and that’s pretty much all you get I mean as far as they don’t really tell you how it’s supposed to taste it just I think says like something like smooth it’s smooth rich and smooth again like Ben Affleck yeah no tasting notes really so kind of go in to it blind yeah Dunkin Donuts coffee you know I remember when we went to Dunkin Donuts one time it was the first time I think that I had ever had coffee at a place and they they put only cream in it no sugar and it was like the perfect coffee or maybe that no no no no I’m telling this wrong it was cream and sugar but it was the first time I had had coffee out of the place where they actually put in cream and sugar and it was like the right amount the perfect amount it was like wow this is amazing now that was a one-time experience I will say because I remember going after that several times and it was like the coffee tasted burnt and everything but you know it’s kind of like hit or miss yeah now I drink just cream not cream and sugar but overall I think at the restaurant it seems kind of spotty you know it’s like sometimes it’s great sometimes its older coffee and different people making it but the coffee that we’ve actually brewed at home mm-hmm I really liked the Dunkin dark I really liked it remember you didn’t really like it but I really liked it and then the turbo we weren’t a fan and then we also tried the white peppermint something and neither one of us like that at all no it smelled like peppermint but it was not good mmm no this one was I mean it’s you know at that price point I’m looking for some good flavor you know got higher expectations I would say than like you know great value or something like that right and people in Boston got to know their coffee and they love dunkies right which I thought that maybe Dunkin Donuts coffee was from Boston but apparently JM Smucker owns it and that’s it yeah well oh okay actually the JM Smucker Company is using the license from Dunkin Donuts so right they’re roasting and everything and then putting it out licensed to roast yes under your name by law trademark right yeah yes they’ve got the manufacturing and said then they yeah they use it whatever what let’s see the main thing is does it taste good do we think it tastes any good you might be totally against what we say right does anybody have a napkin so okay I’m not a big fan of this coffee yeah the first time we drank it out of the bag it was it was pretty beanie I thought mm-hmm that kind of went away didn’t it didn’t hold that beaniness it was just that first time out of the bag tasted beanie yeah and there’s a little bit of a caramely type thing just a little bit yeah see I always I keep thinking there’s a lot more caramel flavor but then there’s also kind of maybe like a honey I know it kind of reminds me of hot tea like the way I would drink a hot tea not like at a Japanese restaurant that’s not what you mean Japanese restaurant I’ll put a lot of sugar in the hot tea well yeah I just mean like instead of it being like coffee to me it’s more like tea like I don’t know I just I don’t know it’s just how I taste it I just I can’t get into it as like a coffee right you know like I I want that kind of chocolatey roasty whatever and I just don’t like it that’s true yeah it’s missing it’s missing maybe they should go into the tea business and move to Britain right something like that maybe so what would you say for your doughnuts then two and a half yeah I mean I don’t want to go as high as a three because I would never want to buy this again right it doesn’t it doesn’t it doesn’t punch the right buttons yeah it just doesn’t I mean it doesn’t have that punch that it needs I can see how other people would probably like it I mean you know what I mean like because you can easily get it well yeah but what I mean it’s not that it’s offensive and it’s like oh that’s horrible coffee it’s just not the right kind of flavor for me so yeah you may like it I’d agree it’s it’s kind of weak and we make it the same way we make all of them which was a heaping tablespoon per 6 fluid ounce cup you know you can adjust to taste any way that you want to and maybe we could adjust it a little stronger but a lot of times we found that even making the adjustments it doesn’t really help yeah earlier this morning we were walking and it was 5 o’clock in the morning yeah and we heard a crack pop crack and about 20 minutes later a gigantic pine tree fell in the woods yeah so so right now the wind is blowing and we can hear cracks so we’re wondering what’s gonna happen yeah a little insight into full-time RV living and coffee reviewing right but so anyway two and a half donuts yeah yeah if you totally disagree with us let us know yeah and we’ll read the comment and we will probably put a like on it yeah and thank you for commenting but it won’t change our opinion on it unfortunately but if there’s another Dunkin Donuts coffee that
